There are only 2 ways I know how to solve this:ġ) When creating the 'Parent' dimension style, don't specify 'Use for all dimensions' but only for linear dimensions. However, in the Modify Dimension Style window for this child dimension, the Linear Dimensions section of the Primary Units tab is grayed out and therefore the suffix (in my case 'mm') can not be deleted! This results in angular dimensions such as 60 ⁰ mm which doesn't make sense. I agree the most logical way would be to create a 'Child' dimension style and specify it for the use of angular dimensions. Now, clicking on any gray hidden dimension will display them in the drawing. At this stage, the mouse cursor shape will change to an eye with a cross line on it. I have the same question but about Autocad 2010, don't know if anyone knows the answer.
